We are currently looking for an intern specialising in PR. The intern will gain exposure in the Communications Department and assist in developing digital content and coordinating the quarterly newsletter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing various communication materials (print & digital), programmes and activities
  • Assist with the management of our social media channels
  • Assist with the production of quarterly newsletter including researching, interviewing, content writing, fact checking, simple photo & video shooting, proofreading and content editing

 

Experience

  • Currently studying or have just complete a diploma/degree in the field of mass communication, public relations, journalism, marketing, multimedia, design or equivalent
  • Minimum internship duration is 3 months

 

Skills

  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good organisation and interpersonal skills
  • Good multimedia skills
  • Artistic, creative, insightful, imaginative (eye for good design)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, analyse, inspect, update and present data findings with visuals and statistics
  • Evaluate performance of digital campaigns and determine actionable insights
  • Make recommendations and influence campaign directions by effectively communicating findings to cross-functional teams


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Academic: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Quantitative methods, Math, Advertising, Marketing or comparable work experience is required.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of related work experience in digital marketing analytics or related field
  • Knowledge: Advanced MS Excel or Google Sheets skills.
  • Intermediate experience with website analytics tools such as Web Trends, Google Analytics,
  • Adobe Analytics, etc.
  • Experience conducting ROI analysis, optimization insights and reporting for digital campaign
  • and online advertising mediums (E.g.: display advertising, search marketing, online video,
  • social advertising, etc.).
  • Understanding of marketing channels, UTM campaign tracking, and data systems including
  • CRMs, search, display, social, mobile, referral, email, etc.
  • Experience providing analysis and insights for one or more of the following: web and search
  • traffic, email messaging statistics, and social media trends, offline media impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and maintain potential or existing relationships and loyalty with clients.
  • Planning, strategizing, managing the client’s promotional campaigns and projects.

 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Academic: Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Bachelor Degree in Mass Communications, Media Communications or equivalent.
  • Experience: Preferably 3 years of working experience in a similar position within same industry.
  • Knowledge: Digital Marketing, Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Key skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, high adaptability, ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines, negotiation skill, excellent time management skill and ability to work with limited supervision.
